Thought for the day: what a trade!
Why are we being frugal to praise people and generous to mock? Does an act of uplifting people threat our self-worth, while an act to trash people around legitimates our self-concept? In other words, we have to commit one of the seven deadly sin, pride it is, to feel good about ourselves. What a trade!
