How to Get This Look
Ini look dari backstage runway Preen fall 2008/2009. Gue berusaha untuk meniru look ini dengan barang-barang seadanya di kotak lenongan gue dan lumayan berhasil. Key untuk look ini supaya gak keliatan washed out: conceal your undereyes! Karena ini smokey look, dark circle bakal bikin keliatan kusam.
Eyes
- concealer as the base (if you have special eye base like UDPP, just use this instead of concealer)
- MAC Pigment Sweet Sienna: all over lid + lower lash line
- MAC Pigment Naked: inner corner
- Clear Mascara (I use Maybelline Great Lash Clear Mascara)
Cheeks (no blush!)
- Rimmel Bronzer in Shade 027 Sun Dance, hit the shape of big 3 (the side of your forehead, temple of the cheek, and the jawline) and blend all over the face. This is Beau Nelson's technique. - Alima Luminous Shimmer Blush in Sahara as highlighter (Although Alima names this mineral product as shimmer blush, it is almost colorless (very sheer), you only can see the golden shimmer. It suits more as a highlighter). I use this on my apple of the cheek and blend it to the temple on the cheek.
Lips
- Lip Balm (I'm using Vaseline Petroleum Jelly)
- Clinique Color Surge Lipstick in Red Drama, dab on your lips using your finger to achieve more natural look (kiss off look)
- Lipgloss (if you want glossy lips): If you want to neutralize the red color, use clear lipgloss; If you want to deepen the red, use red lipgloss
Voila! You're ready to!
